1. Chinook Salmon (King Salmon)

Season: May to September

2. Coho Salmon (Silver Salmon)

Season: July to September

Coho arrive later in the summer and offer fast action. They’re known for their acrobatics and aggressive takes. A great fish for both beginners and experienced anglers alike.

3. Halibut

Season: April to October

These bottom-dwellers can grow massive, and Northern Vancouver Island is one of the best places to target them. Halibut fishing is an exciting challenge, and the reward is unbeatable table fare.

4. Lingcod

Season: April to September

With their prehistoric looks and aggressive strikes, lingcod are a favorite among charter guests. Found around rocky reefs and underwater structure, they’re fun to catch and even better to eat.

5. Rockfish

Season: Year-Round (regulated)

6. Pacific Cod & Other Bottomfish

Season: Year-Round (varies)
